David is a
Senior Plan Examiner at the Land Titles Office and is responsible for the
development of new policy and practice documentation for plan issues
(updates of the Registrar-Generals Directions for Plans etc). He was the
Plan and Title Advisor prior to Anthony Swallow. He joined LPI as a cadet in 1972 and has
been dealing with the examination and registration of deposited plans ever
since. He will discuss issues and
problems that can arise with easements and party walls ((party walls,
cross-easements, drainage off the common roof etc) and highlight the
various pitfalls awaiting the unsuspecting surveyor. David will also give a general LPI update
on technical (not management) plan issues
Also on the
night will be the usual updates on the Institution, SMIC, BOSSI, Seniors
Group and the Young Surveyors Group.
